88 year old lady with known COPD was brought to ED by ambulance with shortness of breath. She was on 6L Oxygen. Arterial blood gas was obtained and it showed the following:
PH = 7.25
PaO2 = 92 mmHg
PCO2 = 84 mmHg
HCO3 = 40 mmol/L
Na = 134 mmol/L
K = 4.0 mmol/L
Cl = 87 mmol/L
Lactate = 2.8 mmol/L
Cr = 150 nmol/L
Glucose = 9.6 mmol/L
