Welcome to Emergucate, This is an Emergency Medicine (EM) blog developed with 2 intentions: – to provide basic usable information for junior doctors who are new or starting out in EM. The ‘Bite-Sized Basics‘ area will contain a selection of searchable and concise topic overviews. Also usually included will be a Beyond the Basics section that will explore more detailed, complex, interesting or controversial aspects of the topic that will be useful for both the junior and senior practitioner. – to provide Advanced EM cases for the consideration of the more senior Emergency practitioner. Currently this is provided through the Imaging Case of the Week and ECG of the Week. We also have an archive of previous Educational Pearls.
