The right hand x-rays shows an intraarticular fracture of the base of the 5th metacarpal. This is reverse Bennett’s fracture.

This is an unstable fracture. The Extensor Carpi Ulnaris which is inserted into the base of the 5th metacarpal, acts as a deforming force.

The patient needs referral to hand specialist for further management.
