The pelvic x-ray shows an avulsion fracture of the right anterior superior iliac spine (ASIS).

The ASIS avulsion fracture is seen in young adults. It involves sartorius tendon. Mechanism is sudden extension of the hip joint.

Usually managed conservatively but if the fracture fragment is large, may need surgical intervention.
