When you do the tertiary survey in a major trauma patient, what do you actually look for?

Any injuries that are the result of trauma they sustained.

Any medical causes for the trauma.

Take a detailed history from all your trauma patients and examine them from head to toes once you ruled immediately life-threatening injuries during your primary and secondary surveys.
