The frontal chest x-ray shows a cavity in the right lower lobe which could be easily missed if one doesn’t pay enough attention.
While interpreting a chest x-ray, always look carefully at the review areas of the chest. These include:
- Apices
- Hilum
- Retrocardiac
- Below the hemi-diaphragms
