The pelvic x-ray shows a few abnormalities in the right hip joint. The right capital femoral epiphysis is flattened and slightly sclerotic. There is an associated mild effusion in the affected hip joint. These changes are indicative of Perthes disease.

Perthes disease is a childhood disorder caused by avascular necrosis of the hip joint.
