The chest x-ray shows

features of right middle lobe pneumonia.

There is air space opacity silhouetting the right heart border. The lateral chest x-ray shows the area of interest overlapping the heart, sandwiched between the horizontal & oblique fissure.

Patient had fever, elevated inflammatory markers and was treated with antibiotics with clinical improvement.

Patients treated with antibiotics for pneumonia should have a follow up chest x-ray after 6 weeks to ensure resolution.
