Lab case 215

43 year old lady presented with atypical chest pain. She had background of hypertension, fatigue and muscles cramps.

Initial Bloods revealed Normal troponin, K = 2.8, Cl = 93, HCO3 = 33.

Her blood gases results were:

PH = 7.47

PO2 = 49

PCO2 = 38

HCO3 = 34

Na = 144

Cl = 91

K = 2.6

Cr = 71
