You are reviewing the VBG of a 40 year old lady with a background of hypoxic brain injury who has presented with a reduced GCS from her nursing home.

Ph = 7.44

PCO2 = 69 mmHg

PO2 = 24 mmHg

HCO3 = 46 mmol/L

Na = 139 mmol/L

K = 1.6 mmol/L

Cl = 84 mmol/L

Creatinine = 38 nmol/L

Glucose = 4.4 mmol/L

Lactate = 1.5
