28 days old boy brought by his parents for multiple vomiting episodes. His venous gases showed the following:
PH = 7.479
pCO2 = 41 mmHg
pO2 = 34 mmHg
HCO3 = 30 mmol/L
Na = 140 mmol/L
K = 4.6 mmol/L
Cl = 94 mmol/L
Hb = 127 g/L
Glucose = 4.8 mmol/L
Lactate = 2.0 mmol/L
Creatinine = 30 umol/L
